Our Vision is a community without hunger, a people with hope. Responding to this need by sharing up to 2000 meals in a single day necessitates the Friendhsip Inn kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Through generous donor support, the Inn was able to purchase state-of-the-art industrial ovens and appliances from RATIONAL – tools that have become the standard in professional kitchens around the world. For Michael Epp, volunteering at the Friendship Inn is more than just serving meals—it’s about dignity, kindness, and human connection. Michael, an Accountant at MNP in Saskatoon, has been volunteering at the Inn for three years, drawn to its mission of ensuring that everyone, especially those in vulnerable positions, has access to a warm meal. “I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and have their most basic human needs met,” he says.
