There are many ways to leave a legacy of love for your community. Legacy giving has benefits beyond feeling good about your act of caring and kindness. There are also tax benefits for you and for your estate.
You can leave a legacy with the Friendship Inn through:
- A bequest in your Will. You can state your intention to leave a specific amount or the residue of your Estate as a gift to the Saskatoon Friendship Inn.
- A gift of RRSPs or RRIFs. Naming Saskatoon Friendship Inn Inc. as your beneficiary.
- A gift of insurance policies. There are three ways you can leave a gift of insurance: name Saskatoon Friendship Inn as beneficiary of an existing life insurance policy, donate a new policy, or transfer ownership of a current policy.
You should always discuss your intentions and estate planning with your family and your professional advisors such as your lawyer, accountant or financial planner.
