The Friendship Inn offers a variety of support services for the community to help improve access for guests and provide them an outlet to discuss daily challenges.

Community Support Worker
Guests are welcome to connect with our community support worker who is available in person at the Inn from Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 3:00 pm.
Guests can call 306-242-3977.
The Compassion Project
Guests of the Friendship Inn often have needs beyond food security. Using donated items, we try to respond compassionately by offering access to daily necessities including:
- Socks
- Tooth brushes & paste
- Shampoo & conditioner
- Empty travel size bottles
- Deodorant
- Razors
In offering these basics to vulnerable guests, we aim to offer them hope and a sense of dignity. Our goal is to connect compassionate donors with guests of the Inn by developing a donation program to ensure the Inn always has a ready supply of basic items for guests in need. We can make this project possible with help from caring, compassionate people like you.
Supported in part from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 by funding received from the Saskatoon Community Foundation 2025 Quality of Life grant program.
Pathway of Hope
A dedicated Community Support Navigator works with guests of the Inn by guiding each individual through a five-step process. Each step is designed to remove barriers and support individuals who wish to move from homelessness, insecure housing or shelter living to a successful rental placement. Guests are supported to secure government-issued ID, open a bank account, file personal income taxes, complete RentEd certification and submit a rental application. Each completed step in the pathway is intended to help restore a sense of dignity and equity, improve mental health and ultimately see participants transition to safe, stable housing.
Supported in part from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2029 by funding received from the Saskatoon Community Foundation Vital Focus grant program.
